I took apart the headlight buckets and found some rust in between the parts. So, they went back into the bath.

I also decided to tackle the bolts holding the pieces of the plastic grille together. I don't have anything large enough in which I could dip an entire grille. So, I set up a re-circulating flow using a 1 GPH bilge pump and a length of hose.

I picked up the pump for $10 at Princess Auto. I had the hose already. I simply rested the grille, face down over the tub and supported the other end with a 5 gallon pail. Perfect set up.

I ran the pump using the bench power supply that I built in college so many years ago. It still works great.
